Oh well... too late now

This is especially for Kathy, Jack and me. Here's how it starts: "Let’s say you’ve been a journalist for a while but you feel a bit out of the loop when it comes to using social media and multimedia... Should you go to grad school?

'Lord, no,' says Jen Lee Reeves of KOMU-TV, who’s on the faculty at the University of Missouri. 'You can teach yourself anything. You just need a little quiet time.'"

Aye, and there's the rub. Where do you find 'quiet time'?

I definitely hear what you are saying here and really questioning whether I will ever get some of this stuff. Sitting in a hotel room in California this morning re-installing Wordpress and rebuilding my entire blog. I won't bore you with details, but I tried to change something and it didnt work. Uggh ! Not always a fan of this technology.....

Going back to school was one of the best decisions I ever made. I mean, look at all the resources! I've met so many terrific people, instructors, and students who are truly motivating and inspiring. I've tried this on my own--just didn't work. I may not be the best and brightest, but I've made more progress in school in the past couple of months--than I have in years. Just ask my 14 year old!
